iPhone from my eyeview…$$$

Apple iPhone 3G Prizefight to see which phone won the battle. Apple designed this new phone to feel just like the old one. The iPhone — with its gorgeous touchscreen, wireless delivery of applications and hundreds of entertainment titles — is poised to bridge that gap. The Gartner Group research firm projects that iPhone games will help propel cell-phone gaming revenues in the U.S. The iPhone Blog merged with the Phone different site in May of 2008. Both sites were founded on a premise that comes one from one of Apple's old slogans: Think different. The iPhone version is available for $4.

The iPhone has become a moneymaker for Apple while giving software developers by the hundreds the chance to tag along. They just have to give Apple a 30 percent cut, which Weihs said is well worth it. The iPhone app store has utterly blown away all expectation, The amount of publicity that Guiness got through iPint alone makes it worth having an internal iPhone app development team. You don’t see that with blackberry. The iPhone Arm is literally an extra arm to hold your iPhone so you never have to stop .

The iPhone had already made a massive impact on browsing of websites from mobile devices before the 3G model was launched earlier in July. In April this year, the iPhone beat Symbian-based Nokia mobile web access into second place in the US. The iPhone 3G may be all the rage, but there are plenty of folks still out there rocking original iPhones. One problem with most cases is that it?s difficult to use certain iPhone accessories in conjunction with a case: for example, the iPhone?s dock. The iPhone may not have more applications in absolute numbers than Windows Mobile at this point, but it's sure as heck growing faster. And that's worth paying attention to.

The iPhone OS user interface wouldn't work on a smaller device unless we mutate into having tiny fingers overnight, or apple decide that a completely new interface is a productive thing to develop. I don't expect The Mail to know any more about technology than any other topic that they write their crap about. The iPhone is not really a Newton replacement. I've never even touched a Newton but I wish my iPhone could to handwriting recognition, or even have a doodle pad.

Apple is famous for its strict user interface guidelines. Perhaps Microsoft could do a bit of that itself. Apple will get it working right - it has to. And I'm a big fan of being able to synchronise multiple devices in one go. Apple has made it very clear that they are the big dog in the yard when it comes to the App Store. If they want to yank an app off their shelves, they will do exactly that.

Perhaps you and your kids have an iPod or two, you have an iPhone (you know, the family that buys Apple together, stays together). Now isn't it always a pain to have to worry about where your charger is, whose charger cable is whose and which ones you need to pack for vacation? Perhaps this is coming out a little late for Matthew Sparkes to test out , so we don’t know how well it will work…yet. I’m sure there will be reports on its effectiveness after it comes out in mid-August.

Virgin is selling Apple's 8GB iPhone 3G for $0 upfront on a $70 monthly plan, which includes $520 worth of calls and 1GB of data. For an extra $30 per month, customers can receive an extra 4GB of data and opt for the 16GB iPhone 3G for $0 up front. Virgin?s default plan costs AUD$70 per month for a term of 24-months, most of which goes towards the price of the phone (for which you pay nothing upfront). That plan includes AUD$520 of monthly included credit and 1GB of data.
